Food is what connects human beings from all around the world: we all need to eat, but we all have different tastes! Different countries have specific delicacies and traditional food that can only be found there. It’s what makes each place’s cuisine unique: ingredients, history, traditions and secrets passed on from generation to generation.
Of course, not all kinds of food are suited for everyone’s taste. Some have rather peculiar features that truly distinguish them from the rest. There are some traditional dishes that defy the common definition of food and can be, well, rather ominous in appearance. But you shouldn’t stop at that! Even the most disgusting looking dish may hid a wonderful and appealing taste.

- Chicken’s feet. If you go to East Asia, Caribbean, South America or South Africa, you may want to try this tasty delicacy.
- Haggis. This scottish dish contains a sheep’s heart, lungs and liver mixed together with herbs and spices. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
